How We Price Your Project
Every project is quoted individually — we don't use a fixed price list, since carpentry work varies so much by size, material and design. When preparing your quote, we take into account:
- Size and scope of the piece or space being built.
- Materials chosen — the type of wood, boards, hardware and finishes affect cost significantly.
- Design complexity — custom joinery, curves, built-in features and intricate detailing take more time than simple, straight-line pieces.
- Site conditions — access, existing structures to work around, and whether old fittings need to be removed first.
- Delivery and installation — if you'd like us to deliver and fit the completed work, this is factored in separately.
What's Included in Your Quote
Unless stated otherwise, a quote covers materials, labour, and the finishes discussed during your consultation. Delivery and installation are included only where specifically agreed as part of the project.
What Can Change the Final Price
- Design changes requested after you've approved the original quote.
- Upgrading to different materials or finishes partway through the project.
- Site conditions that weren't visible or known at the time of quoting.
Quote Validity
Quotes are valid for the period stated in our Terms & Conditions, since material prices can change over time.
Deposits & Payment
Our deposit requirements and accepted payment methods are set out in full in our Terms & Conditions — please review that page alongside any quote we send you.
